Tuesday was PRE CMC. We started with the Charité Stanford Spring Symposium on Global Healthcare: Focus on Gynecological Malignancies for Undergraduate Students.
The Symposium offered a global perspective on the clinical challenges of managing gynecological cancers. It focused on innovative approaches to diagnosis and treatment, enhancing communication between physicians, patients, and the public, and preparing future healthcare leaders to address technological and cultural shifts in healthcare.
The Scientific Lead, Prof. Dr. med. Elena Ioana Braicu from the Charité in Berlin, recapped: “It was a fine success. I think the audience appreciated the mix of topics – Screening and Prevention Strategies, Surgery, Long-term Survivorship, Cancer Awareness, and Psychosomatic Medicine in Global Healthcare. Since there was enough room for discussion, we could clarify a lot of open questions.”
